Our team at the beginning of
our project.

This is a picture of our
team. Let us introduce ourselves. Our project advisor is Mrs. Allison, the
library media teacher at our old school, Benjamin Franklin Middle School in
Vallejo, California. We now attend Hogan High School. We are now in the
9th grade. |

This picture was taken on a recent visit to
the construction site. Major progress is being made on the bridge approach
as well as the bridge itself. The building is causing a lot of traffic
disruption, but we are all looking forward to having a safe, attractive
bridge that we can drive on, walk across and even ride our bicycles
across. |
| Hello world, this
is Breyana and I'm in the 9th grade. I
just turned 14 in September and I love music, all kinds.
I joined this project in 6th grade. I joined because I was in a
group called Mesa and we were doing a project for building bridges and it
was suggested that my friends and I join. I like doing this for the field
trips, the small projects, and this could look good on my record for
college. I also really like computers and thought it would
be fun to help build a website. I already worked on a website but there
was a wizard to help me and made things easier than what I'm doing now.
Well, that's it... have fun on our website! |

| Hey Everyone! My
name is Kayla (KC) I started this project when I was in the 6th
grade. When I started, I was very computer illiterate. Now, I know how to
insert pictures from files and all of those other good things. Bart has
taught me many things about the bridge project. From 4 years of experience,
I know what to expect of the outcome of this bridge. I hope to find new
students to continue our legacy. (Not that I want to leave.) Bye. |

My name is
LaNaudia. My friends call me Lan. Like all the others, I have been working
on this project since the 6th grade. I like working on it and look forward
to working on it during the next year. Over the past few years, Bart has
been teaching me a lot about the new bridge and about the history of the
old one. I can't wait to see what the new bridge looks like. Bye. |
